Choose the route from the facts
Start with the entity, assets, creditors, employees, registrations and pending disputes. An inactive business, a solvent entity distributing assets and an insolvent enterprise do not share one closure process.
What we help organise
- Compliance backlog and correction priorities
- Transfer and group-reorganisation dependencies
- Entity and registration closure records
- Coordination with counsel and insolvency professionals
Keep responsibilities visible
The worklist identifies who signs, files, retains records and responds to later queries. Professional fees reflect the entities, history and route involved. Authority charges and specialist appointments are stated separately; no liability release or fixed completion date is promised.
Start with the change you need to make
- Resolve a backlog: compliance remediation separates missing evidence, inconsistent records and substantive correction questions.
- Move or reorganise operations: business-transfer compliance maps the transaction boundary. Group restructuring and family-business reorganisation address the wider ownership and management changes.
- End an entity or registration: distinguish company and LLP closure from registration surrender. Closing a location may leave the entity operating elsewhere.
- Coordinate a formal process: voluntary-liquidation coordination and insolvency advisory coordination organise evidence for the relevant professional assessment and process.
Prepare a dated position pack
List the entities and locations, current activity, assets, debts, contracts and unresolved notices. Reconcile the financial schedules to available records and identify uncertainty explicitly. Include guarantees, deposits and shared arrangements that may not be obvious from the business’s trading status.
For example, a group closing one subsidiary may still use its contracts or systems in another operation. Identify those dependencies before setting a closure date. The intended end state should describe who will hold the assets, perform the work and retain the records afterward.
The closure and restructuring journey provides an ordered preparation sequence. Each service proposal identifies its own deliverables, professional responsibilities and remaining actions.
